Dining Room in French Green
I wanted to do something to warm up our dining room. Initially I moved our living room rug under the table, having purchased a new one for our living room which I'll share soon.
Here is the before ...
This made a huge difference as you can see.
Next I decided to do something different with our French doors. I considered painting and/or curtains. So after scouring Pinterest, I decided to look for a muted green colour to add to the walls.
I found this one from Porter's Paints called French Green. It's a very neutral green and gives of a vintage vibe.
I also added a few vintage prints to the walls after discovering at Christmas the doors sit out a fair distance and will easily slide over the pictures. We mostly keep these doors closed so it made sense to utilise this real estate space.
The other walls I had repainted pure white but to add some interest I added back my Sharpie Shiplap, but this time I went from floor to ceiling.
I'm also considered making some cloth slip chair covers, maybe in a stripe pattern.
Ideally I'd like to get another table that extends. This would be especially good at Christmas when we need the extra table space.
I also need to get a move on with my Easter decorating!
