Display Cabinet Refresh including Rub N Buff Knobs

 Happy Friday Everyone!

I hope you have all had a good week. In my neck of the woods, the Covid numbers in Sydney are growing daily, lives are being lost, and we've been in lockdown for 8 weeks now with an addition 4-6 weeks added on today. The kids are home learning and hubby is working from home. Everyone is dealing in their own way. I am a homebody at heart so I actually don't mind having to stay home. Although I do like to shop too so that has been challenging. Let's just say I've been keeping our delivery man busy! 😉

The weather has been so warm here lately. You can sense the beginning of Spring in the air.  I love Spring. It's so nice to thaw out. I think I become a bit more active on the DIY front too. 😀 And with the sun shining it's a great opportunity to get some good indoor photos.

So today I'm sharing a refresh to our living room display cabinet.

Cause before you know it, it will be Christmas and I'll be restyling this cabinet again. 😂

First off I decided to bring my vintage typewriter out of storage.

And there are a few new additions to the inside of my cabinet.

I decided to display my leftover vintage keys in a shadow box frame. I think they look super cute on a jumbled ring, hanging on a small gold hook.

Remember the small vintage bottles I got off eBay recently. I decided to put them safely on display in the cabinet. I didn't share the ink bottle one last time. How cute is it. I can't decide whether to keep the ink in it or not. What do you think?

I found the old grater at a thrift shop. And the gramophone cylinders are so old and unique.

I previously had gun metal grey knobs on the doors, but with the help of a little Rub n Buff in European Gold, I have a whole new look hardware.

But I digress, let's talk Christmas decorating. 😜 Haha, just kidding. But I can't lie, it is on my mind. 😊

Have a great weekend.

Take care and stay safe,
