How To Create a Farmhouse Christmas Day Table Setting
Merry Christmas Friends!
Today I'm sharing my Christmas Day Table Setting.
This year I decided to go with a classic neutral, white, gold and green setting.
We had to use 2 tables placed in a square shape to fit everyone. I like have the square, rather than a rectangle as you can see everyone and the food can be placed in the centre.
I started with gold fabric table clothes from Bed Bath n Table as my foundation.
Next I added a lighter gold fabric runner, also from Bed Bath n Table.
For my centrepiece, I added a gold tree, and a bauble and bell garland. And a sprinkling of brown and white pinecones.
I added small green light up trees and a green glitter garland. I further added some white holly ball sprigs.
I also added some reindeer figures.
For my place settings I didn't have enough to do one type of setting so I did 2 different complimentary ones. I used wth a round hyacinth placemats, gold fabric place mats and gold string place mats. I used silver cutlery and white plates.
On each plate I placed a gold spotted fabric napkin, tied with twine and added a sprig of white holly. Each place setting got a gold bon bon, and a folded cardboard star name place marker.
Before the food was brought out I was able to deconstruct the centrepiece, making way for our Christmas Day feast.
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas Day surrounded by family and friends.
Julie :)
