The History of My Box Brownie Camera

I got this little beauty from the original owner off ebay for $10 about 3 months ago. 

Isn't it divine!

It's a genuine Kodak Box Brown camera. Although I can't see a date on it, research reveals these cameras were made some time between 1946 and 1953, making it over 60 years old!

When I picked it up, the lovely old gentleman explained how he had purchased it for his wife as a wedding present many years ago.  Her initials are even embossed into the case!  I love that I have a beautiful story to tell about the history of the camera.

And it looks gorgeous on display in my lounge room. :)  They just don't make them like they used to.
